I've sold med sups but not actively marketed it. So I want some opinions. As far as replacing policies. I have a telemarketer that has been reliable for me in the past. I pay her about $12.00 an hour. What do you think I can estimate an averaged amount of closed deals I can get. I plan on allocating about $1500.00 a month.

I've done it in Health before but i kn ow health insurance is a lot easier.

Well let me add if you have somebody calling about 30 hours a week. For Health insurance I would get about 2 leads a hour usually closing about 30%. I'm trying to figure how it works for med supps.

From my experience with telemarketers, the area that's being called is the biggest variable. I have seen areas that can get 3+ leads an hour, I have also seen areas that get less than 1 per hour.

Just trying to get a feel how many leads on average would you say you close. On Health I use to close about 3 out of 10 I imagine its probably lower for med supps is that correct?

Lots of variables including do you have a lower price than the most "popular" carriers. Can you make a compelling case for Plan G or Plan N?

While things are a bit slower now, I think it takes about 5-6 "nos" to get one "yes." And that doesn't mean a sale, but someone interested enough to send info.

I don't do screen shares because most of the 70 year old prospects aren't comfortable with that.
