I have a 62 MNT . He has been diabetic on insullen since the age of 44. He takes about 55 units a day. He also has glaucoma and take Latanoprost drops. The other meds are mostly blood pressure and everything else is pretty clean.

Replacing an AARP term that he has had for about 7 years. Really need to get level, same day full coverage. He wants $25,000 to $35,000.

Any suggestions?

Trinity/FBL, Foresters, 1 Star just to name a few.

I just spoke with Foresters and the sales desk suggested they would take him but when I look up retinopathy it clearly talks about glaucoma as an eye disorder related to retinopathy.

I did have him approved level 2 years ago with Foresters and he dropped it before the first payment was scheduled.

Glaucoma and Retinopathy are two different conditions. MANY conditions may lead to others, heck Diabetes CAN lead to heart attacks, strokes, amputations, and all sorts of pleasant situations, but not always, much has to do with how they manage it and their family history.

Don't try to be a doctor, write the app if he qualifies. Sounds like he does based on what you are telling us.
