Aetna Underwriting

Does anybody have a clue how Aetna texas rates up on their individual plans? Tobacco use? Overweight? HBP? They won't let an agent rate up in the field so what do you tell a client? They don't have anything in their underwriting guide other than the silly ABC type things without a %? Only have to do it by prescreen?

The underwriting guide has three categories. A, B & C.
According to agent services at Aetna.
A Preferred
B 25% rate up
C 50% rate up.
Also they can use B + C for at total of 75%
Just watch height/weight with Aetna - they use BMI and although they have a chart in their UW guide they don't state where the cut-off is for B and C tiers.
