AHIP is terrible this year.

It was crooked and just wrong. They should have been sued over it. Either way though, they lose.
So much so. I wonder if they will ever go commissionable again?

It's funny, I had a lot of clients on it in 2024. For 2025 AEP, I presented them with the option of staying on the Value Script, or moving to a commissionable plan that would cost a little more. I would say 9/10s out of ten they moved to a plan that would pay me. If it was going to cost them a lot more, I wouldn't let them move. I found that when I explained the situation to them and let them know I am okay with whatever they wanted to do, they chose for me to be paid for my work. I really appreciated that.

Lucky! I worked under another agent for 10 years and branched out on my own last year. I imagine it will be awhile before I get to the level you are! 🤣

I wouldn't say I have a ton of active clients with Humana. Maybe 300. It's best to spread them out.
Maybe the broker manager was wrong. But it's what he told me. We'll see. Aetna usually gives it for free as well but it's not a big deal to pay

Totally off topic but

I got an email from Danielle at Radius today.

They're no longer selling subscriptions under Radius anymore. New subscribers have to go through AgencyBloc.

You nailed it last year when you said it would happen.

I bet that means another price increase in the not too distant future. I got spoiled with having the same CRM for 20-years. They sold to AgencyBloc which prompted my switch to RB after doing a ton of research. AB was just way too proud of their product.

Was it GBS?

AB bought GBS years ago and told us that nothing would change. Within months GBS was gone.

When RB told us last year that AB had bought them I started my move over to Medicare Pro. Totally satisfied so far.

Yep. I kept using GBS long after the sale to AB, but eventually decided I needed something in the cloud in case of computer failure. It took quite some time to get it all entered into RB. Guess I'm going to have to start looking at Medicare Pro because it feels inevitable that Radius Bob will eventually get to the $80 per month range.

Well if he ever says "tell your friends about our deal!", let me know! 🤣 Every little bit helps- I am not making a lot right now. Very long story but in a nutshell my old agency didn't release my clients as promised (even with a written agreement in place). So instead of flourishing at the start, I am struggling to get out of the red. I am on my way there, just way behind where I wanted to be. :arghh:
