So, one of my agents wrote apps (NGL) Him, Alz. among other things 64,NS
Her morbidly obese 57, and heart attack within the last 12 months.
$3500 on each. $35.59 & 21.00

How much less could AMCON be? Another agent came behind her with AMCON
They texted her to cancel the NGL.

I feel bad for her as it was her first 2 apps., and am wondering if the other agent is able to crush NGL's price with a graded policy from amcon.

Looking for a comparison if possible to help her out.

Many Thanks!

First you need to subscribe to FEXQuotes. Then you need to have her go back with Gerber.

With Gerber you can give them $5000 each for those payments.

If it makes your agent feel any better the 57-year-old Am Con didn't even pay any commission it all on

Is Alz. Alzheimer's? If so, the person does not qualify for any plan with American Continental. They just lied on the application.

They had to do a phone interview. Maybe they forgot they have alzheimers?

But you are correct, no plan available for them is they have it.

The op asked about graded. AmCon's graded is 40% 1st year and 75% second year. Far better than ROP.

AmCon's modified is 2 year ROP + 10%. Way better priced than NGL or Settlers. But as Newby said, no commission for that agent.

Seems odd that the agent would misrepresent for no pay.

I didn't say who did the lying, just that someone did. Based on what was posted, it seems the 64 year old is the one that has the Alzheimer's. Apparently no meds for it either, unless he hasn't done the PHI yet.

I am surprised the agent is going to put the 57 year old with them for no comp. There are plenty of other companies that will take a fatty. But again, they are going to have to lie on the app. Aetna is modified if the heart attack is within 12 months. So they really are going to misrepresent for no comp on this one.

You could slam the agent for using NGL versus Gerber, but otherwise your agent did the right thing. They are basically GI.

Yes it is, I thought I smelled a scumbag, but am not familiar with AMCON'S
underwriting.

Thanks so much !!

I have Gerber in our back pocket, and was hoping to leave them there.
We thought providing Legacy Safeguard would add value, but it's apparent the other agent claimed we were ripping them off with high rates, and cost is all that's important.

Maybe he didn't get the memo.
