How much is this policy in your state with BlueCross?

These rates are for South Carolina.

40 yo woman, healthy, weight normal and non-smoker.

$1,000 Deductible
$1,500 OOP 70%
$35 Co-Pay
Rx Drug Card
Bank Draft

$387.98/month
$513.00/month with maternity!

About $200-$250 give or take in TX... Our BCBS doesn't do maternity.

In SC I beat BCBS all day long - I am not sure the push on BCBS in SC.

Very poor plan design.

Much better choice:

SC 290 zipcode, UHC HSA100, $1,900 deductible (and oop limit) $209.35/month.

Why in the hell would a 40 year old woman want maternity coverage?

Premium savings: $2,148 per year.

That's a lot of doctor office and Rx copays.

I'm just trying to see how much that plan is in other states, I cant tell you the last time I sold a copay plan over a high deductible health plan. I wanted to put maternity so you see how much it costs here.

LISTEN PEOPLE, I JUST WANT TO SEE HOW MUCH YOUR BCBS PLAN IS W/ THOSE SAME NUMBERS AND WHAT STATE IT IS IN. IF YOU DONT SELL IT, DONT RESPOND.

I sell UHC too but last I checked when i started this thread it was about BCBS.

Thanks for trying to teach me the benefits on a hdhp and the savings, who would have known?!?:nah:

Wow, so defensive. So what's the point?

You post on this forum, and expect to dictate what kind of responses you get?

Poor baby. Hurt feelings?

I work a few states, so I thought I'd chime in.

VA = Anthem = KeyCare Preferred Plan= $254 w/maternity.
Take $71 for no maternity.
$30/$40 Primary/Specialist copays
$5000 max drug per year $10 or 40% of drug costs (whichever is better)
monthly, quarterly, yadda yadda yadda bank drafts

Overall good rates for people who want cheap coverage.

PA is a PITA w/ 5 companies so I'll let Arnie or Chumps talk about the blues up there.

SC...ooops, you already know them!

MD....I'd love to explicate my feelings about the lovely BCBS here in MD, but last time I checked they recently raised their commission a few pennies so I can now by that pack of gum I've always wanted and they offerend to contract me directly instead of going through a GA (something I had not known about before). Perhaps John P. or Sam can chime in. I know John loves the company :)

What's you curiosity about the blues?

All I wanted to see is how much cheaper it is in other states...thats all.

I was trying to keep this thread on topic b/c in just about every thread on this board things get off topic way too quickly. I'm sorry if I seemed grumpy, lol. It was late last night.
