Best Go to Carrier

I have decided to go full time with final expense sales. I was a mortgage broker for 20 years and did well but those days are gone. I did sell a couple of years ago with SNL using their in house marketing but after 6 months stopped because they could only mail a couple thousand cards a month. I looked at other sales jobs but finally decided this is where I need to be. I am looking at IMOs now and am not currently contracted with anyone. I will contract with Gerber but what is a good go to insurer to work with? I think Id rather not have one with a phone interview. Thinking maybe Trans.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. I live in Salt lake City.

That's the million dollar question! I know that the IMO that my wife and I are with 360 Financial Group is the ONLY IMO that has a deal with SNL so you can use your lead credit to purchase the DM leads that we use that say "life Insurance" on them.

I hate using carriers that require a POS interview for a variety of reasons and am in the same boat you are in trying to figure out a GO-TO carrier. Looks like my business will be split up to several carriers but I have to say, SNL has been very good for me and YES, I like Trans too.

Before you do anything, I would consult with a well respected Forum member JimmyUT. His website is: Utah Medicare - The best solutions for Medicare in Utah

He'll steer you the right way or, at the very least, give you his experiences as a successful agent for nearly 4 decades. He does FE and Medicare.

Thanks for the shout out. CJD and I have spoken numerous times, I just think he is looking for other opinions. As for the four decades of success, I am barely 4 decades old, but I appreciate the idea I have the wisdom of an old man. :)

As for carriers, I like SNL Americo, Trans and United Heritage. No phone interviews with any and they all have some good niches. No such thing as I go to company anymore. Btw, I love RNA but won't do the electronic app.

I have been using Trans for a few weeks. They are issuing and paying fast for me. They do have some very annoying things that drive me crazy. I think it takes 9-10 signatures by the applicant to complete the app. That's crazy

What are the Niches of United Heritage? I see them on the quote web site that everyone uses but have never messed with them.

Just started using Trans a lot more recently! What are you finding to be their Niches with medications and conditions?
