Started selling final expense about a year ago and have had alot of success but not where I want to be! I have been with Your Insurance Group out of Florida with an 85% contract and paying $30 for direct mail leads. Being recruited by a few different IMO's. One is Senior Life services out of Vero Beach offering me a low 60% contract but free leads and a ton of support. Any advice on here would be appreciated. Seems everybody thinks their company is the ONLY way and hard to get truth from anyone. PLEASE HELP!

If you can sell and already know the business than do it for yourself and not someone else maybe...

Meaning a street level contract is the logical step and purchasing your own leads. It's been about a year and you seem excited about your success so I'm thinking you don't need much hand holding anymore and curious as to why you'd give up your commissions to a manager that isn't doing much for you.

Just my 2 cents.

Hahaha...I love it. YIG...good luck getting higher contracts with them...oh wait, you'll have to order more leads, but per Brian McCann, "we don't make money on leads"...yeah right...moron.

My advice is to run, not today...yesterday. You're going to have a problem moving your Transamerica contract because of their new rule to pay back all advances. Other than that you should be good to go.

I'm with EFES, depends on your production what they will give you. Street level and $28 DM leads or you could take subsidized leads and less than street. Reach out to Chase Urich for more info.

You could also look at SpurCity. He's on a cruise this week but I'd pm him as well

always amusing the thinking that they are free when giving up 25 pts--------just a matter of doing the math

If it was 85% to 90% with free leads or even discounted it would be a sweet deal for a few years, but if you are paying full pop for leads it needs to be higher.

Hello Brand New,
I enjoy setting up a table at small community events with families (term), church and ladies' health fairs, urban community "take back our streets" themed, etc. Many of the folks who attend have lost loved ones and recognize the true value of life insurance by what it can do for those left behind. I recently changed my theme from 'peace of mind..' to 'Life Insurance Is LOVE Insurance' to remind myself and others that it's really about those we love and who will live after we are gone. These folks refer me to like-minded friends and family members. Especially their adult children with children. Referrals represent TRUST. Remember the times. . . and that really it shouldn't be just about us.

How is this relevant to the question the OP asked?

Good for you on your marketing though

Its a good read from a general marketing standpoint but when it comes to FE, its about carving the cream off the top, moving through the morons for appts and sits and eating the low hanging fruit:D

I was feeling a bit melancholy and heartfelt with the violins and harps droning in the background until you smashed and kicked them over talking about the FE morons----lol , I'm an appreciator of non-PC reality speak
