I am a new multi line captive agent I have been noticing that all the internet marketing systems are geared toward independents. Are there any captive agents that have ideas on how to generate life insurance leads.

There is a huge push for "multiline" P&C companies { Like Farmers and Sate Farm and Allstate, for example} To write more life insurance. Why? Because it is very profitable for the co.
Not that I'm taking anything away from them, they should by all means try and write life and make money.
But, they specialize in car insurance. Or homeowner's ins. Not life. The independent life producers specialize in life, are more competitive, and have more marketing resources. It just happens that way. If these P&C companies really wanted to concentrate on life ins., maybe it should be their main focus, but it rarely is. Just a thought. Again, not taking anything from them, they are huge, and pretty darn good at what they do. It just amazes me when they "all of a sudden" think they should write more life insurance. Then they start having a "push" to do so, and so on. Life insurance in my opinion is better suited to be a main focus, rather than an "add on" or "also ran". Just my opinion. And that's worth about 2 cents.

for captive mulitline agents it's called cross selling or cross marketing. For the most part you already have some of their business and should be able to get more.
On your own, competitively most multiline life products aren't competitive. You want to find those people who have your car insurance and home coverage...warm prospects.
