Coverage for allergy shots/serum

Have a client that wants to get their allergy shots and serum covered. In my research I have found that Humana will cover 80% of the serum and a $35 copay for the office visit shot. Anyone know of any other carriers that provide something?

I'd contact prescreen through any carrier. Allergy shots can be quite expensive and it could be a flat decline through most carriers.

i have had several approved with aetna nad no problems.

Aetna was indeed where I had to put a few clients who had children on allergy shots - however they rated 50%.

Will depend completely on the frequency and cost of the shots.

Humana in most states will cover (miraculously) without a rider or rate up.

Does Humana or any of the insurance companies cover LDA which is: Low dose allergy shots? If so, how much does the insurance company cover? Thank you!
