if someone missed their t65 enrollment by a few months, and uses a FEMA SEP to enroll in Part D, does the penalties get waived?

probably something like that. I just like to be presenting accurate information to the client

Medicare Pro has a part D penalty calculator. An example of the penalty would be:
DOB 4/59 would result in a monthly penalty of $1.70

Give me the dob and I'll get you the actual penalty. (Assuming you don't have MP)

thank you, i appreciate t. the DOB is 5/5/1959
so the effective date of the policy would be 9/1/2024

Caveat, not an agent.

In the event this would be helpful for the future,

If you do a search that goes something like CMS Part (A,B, or D) penalty, you can get to a CMS page that will give you a brief overview of the relevant penalty.
