- WellCare PDP renewals up in smoke. A lot of us lost a lot of money.
- Then Anthem made "some" plans non-commissionable.
- In OH, MMofOH pulled the rug out from under agents on all plans mid-AEP

We need to have product to sell - period. When the better plans arent paying it makes it difficult to do the job.

Actually on 6 or so states anthem made all plans no commission . Last week one of the biggest mapd carriers in Minnesota made all plans no commission July 1 . They said they lost $500 mil in 2024

As a TurkishAmerican I met DR OZ many times and have my biased opinion about him. Lets put it this way. When he was asked how many homes he owns when he was running for senate seat, he could not answer. He is a nice showman. Thats it.

Only reference regarding brokers is that last year 230,000 on ACA plans who had no idea they had it until the IRS agents called them. Brokers had given them these programs and made money off the government (4:38).

There are no "overseas" call centers.. all call center agents are stateside. You may be thinking of fronters or the folks that make the original outbound calls and then transfer to an agent.

Also keep in mind these big brokers have the power and the money. They have way more say in what goes on than independent agents (why do you think CMS caved on FEMA?).
