Email CMS And Tell Them What We Think

In one of the memos sent out, they said there is an email address to ask questions about the new MIPPA rules and regulations.

I think we should all ban together and tell them what we think about this. The agents they are trying to regulate are the ones who do not follow the rules anyway, and are driving the ethical agents to other industries, making it harder for seniors to talk to an agent that has the clients best interest in mind.

I am going to draft a letter. I will post it. I am not saying we should all send the same one, but we all should do our part and at least send them our $.02.
 
I thought about doing that also. I hate the way they talk about "churning" I have a book of about 500 clients and last year I went independent (Humana Agent 05-07) and was able to help people get a better plan last AEP.

This year the Humana PFFS plan is terrible and have already set about 20 appointments with those still on the plan. I can get them on Advantra, TO or Wellcare in this area that is so much better. Humana seems to be pushing them into their PPO that is so so and only has one hospital network and I know that only about half my clients use theirs.

If they call helping someone get a better plan churning, they should be required to be on take the worst plan in the area and try it for themselves. (actually for 96.40 a month, that plan is better than what I have :yes:)

Anyway I think you know what I mean.

If you get a letter together I would love to see it.

Ok, so I have been toying with a letter. I have rewrote it 3 times.

It just seems like rather then enforce the rules on the books (which they do not do) they would just rather throw more out there.
