I believe No. Six months ago, Russia was pretty confident in Biden's position, and nothing has changed since then except the body count. Putin was not concerned about a frail old man. He's intentionally going to drive the market into the ground so he can justify (force Powell) cutting interest rates.

The problem is that tariffs can be inflationary so he has a real balancing act here.

Musk is not an employee of the federal government . . . he is a non-paid consultant "hired" by Trump.

His team are government employees of DOGE, the repurposed, renamed DSDS created in 2014 by EO courtesy of Obama.

He never had the authority to fire anyone and his emails were designed to encourage bureaucrats to return to work IN THE OFFICE or voluntarily quit.

Both accomplished what they were intended to do.

Some employees are being RIFFED via notices from newly appointed cabinet members.
