Spam is one of those foods for me. Like KFC, reminds me of being a kid and me remembering it tasting a lot better than it did. I'll try it again, eat it all, then I'm good / sick for a year or three.

Same with McDonald's, we had Quarter pounders and fries last week. I could put Chalula's (hot sauce) on cardboard and enjoy it more. And save $25.00

OK, I pay for three quoters. Yeah, yeah, I know. I still need to cancel my Disney TV for the last 5 years.

I am mostly a Vitual agent. Referrals or my book so I do not complete with anyone. Winding down business wise.

Fex - I have had them a long time. It is quick and has Term, GUL and SIWL in one place. Presentation is old, ugly and no options to rearrange products. But super easy to send a PDF or text comparison.

ToolKit - is awesome for agents like me where SIWL is not my go to. I don't want to learn every app. Great underwriting tools. Not much in Term or presentation options. They are my go to for quoting any kind of ailments.

Compulife - I first started using them in the early 90s. They have just about every Term and GUL player. And will or would add anyone you asked for. I had the add some SIWL years ago. They have just about every Term and GUL product. Consistently accurate. And will correct inaccuracies quickly. Without getting pissy. No problem.

There spreadsheet on the web version is much more robust, albeit old, than the above two. Makes it easier when comparing GUL long-term premiums v Term premiums. A little underwriting also for basic stuff. They reply to messages.


So, how does your quoter compare.

This is Best Plan Pro, in direct competition with Toolkit. They were suing Toolkit for copying their program....not sure how that turned out.

They have a better appearance and it looks like their underwriting is better than Toolkit. I probably would have tried them if they had more Med Supp carriers. They said they were adding more, but 1 1/2 years later...they still only have a couple. So, Toolkit offers more carriers on Med Supp carriers.
