I've reached out to a UHC rep with this question but no response yet.

If I write a med supp for someone who is GI because their MAPD is exiting the market, is the med supp commissionable?

No different then other GI

Unless something has changed UHC used to pay 50% on GI

Here's the response from PHD (this is for an AZ client)--

If they have had another UHC plan prior to their current MA, then the Original Agent of Record will retain their AOR status and receive commission.

Plans accepted with Guaranteed issue would be paid at 5% of $310.00 bring $15.50 yearly in commission payments.

Pretty pathetic.

Dude, I copied and pasted the PHD rep's response. Am I sure? I'm not sure of anything.

Could be state-specific.
