Hello. Thanks to @Sam for approving my request to join. Thought I'd go through the motions here and introduce myself.
I've been in the P&C world since 2018. After graduating with a BS in Safety Management, I started out working closely with commercial underwriting as a Loss Control Consultant. I spent some time in the Rust Belt then moved out west to manage the UT/ID territory. I've had the fortune of meeting and working with some very talented and storied folks.
All while doing loss control my good friend and I started up a precious metals shop in Northern UT. Fortunately it grew busy enough that it warranted a full-time guy. So I graciously left my position (then a Director of Loss Control) to manage the day-to-day. We recently opened a second location in the Phoenix Metro. During this time, I also got licensed and open the doors to my agency. I've seen how a lot of the sausage is made and I've seen plenty of great agents and a fair share of mediocre ones. I figured I could do just as good a job if not better than the agents I worked with. My focus will primarily be on commercial however, I'm happy to write personal for the good people in my community.
Anyways, if you've made it this far thank you
. I'm thankful to be a part of a forum with focused topics and such a breadth of knowledge.
