I wonder how far you all drive to appointments?

1. Whatever it takes. (Explain)
2. No more than an hour.
3. About 2 hours.

There and back not round trip.

I would love to Segway if you are a baller or ya just do ok and if it coincides with your willingness to (do whatever it takes).

Funny thing is I am headed back to Sacramento Monday to do an appointment. So as you are driving south through the valley I will be driving north through the valley.:1confused:

Usually try to stay under 3 hours one way. Depends on the deal.

Do you do a lot of qualifying before driving 2+ hours or do you just suck it up and go?

I used to drive about 2.5 hours each way and would spend the night with enough MA appointments.

I have an appointment in Fresno on Friday for 2 MA plans with true up. I could drive the 3.5 hour each way trip. But instead my prospects will meet me at the airport and I'll fly under 1.5 hours each way.

On the downside, I'll be buying Wino Blues lunch.

It is pretty rare that I drive more than 45 minutes without them knowing the plan, price and to have a void check and ID ready. The exception is if I am doing policy reviews I may have little idea what the day will reap but I usually get some solid leads. I should add these are current clients or referrals so much different than running leads. The guys that are doing that are Stud.

I did go out last Saturday to Orinda (3 hours)on a policy review, but I was pretty sure I could beat the plans and the premium was very much worth the risk. That and they only lived 20 minutes form my daughter so I took her to lunch.

Edit: I have been running some shared leads and on those I do not qualify them as hard.

This thread is more enjoyable than the thread about which ink pen to use but not as enjoyable as the one about which type of car to drive or clothes to wear.
