Not your run of the mill situation.

Husband turned 65 7/2024 . . . retiring the end of March . . . Part B to take effect 4/1.

Spouse, age 59, will be covered under husband's EGH until she turns 65. But . . . that retiree plan has an annual cap of $100,000. They want "gap" coverage to pick up claims after $100k.

She can refuse the retiree plan and pick up Obamacare . . . and I don't want to stick her with an indemnity plan.

What options, if any, are available for her?

annual benefits cap of $100k, or an annual max out of pocket of 100k?

You know the answer to this. Obamacare is the only option.

annual benefits cap of $100k,

This . . .

I doubt he will spring for an Obamacare plan and I don't work that market.

PIU has an accident only plan

And the Bridge plan . . .

But I don't see anything that is a good fit.

What about an off exchange plan with an HSA?

$100k in benefits can go fast
