If ACA is abolished, would some ACA premiums decrease?

In the case of a 61-year old healthy male without health issues, would it more likely be less than an exorbitant $800/mnth for a crap coverage? When I constantly see ppl with $0 premiums and coverage for maternity, etc, I can't help feeling like I'm being ripped off.

according to some people on the forum, he would die immediately so it wouldn't even matter.

But the likelihood of the ACA being abolished is so low that its not even worth wasting time talking about it.

Lmao. You mean trump won't keep a promise?
What about at least "modifying" it by allowing ppl to delete features that are not needed? In Texas, there used to be different levels of coverages that would allow a person to purchase a maternity floater to add it, which would be a surcharge with a waiting period and a dollar limit. I'm so tired of paying for all of the bums.

The short answer is yes, but not immediately, it will take time. The carrier would probably create new plan designs and medical pools for the new risk. The current plans would probably remain in place and over time would create a death spiral as the sickest of the sick remain in the pool.

He will have the House, Senate and the SCOTUS in his pocket. Why wouldn't he be able to at least "modify" it to spread the wealth around?
