IMO's That Won't Accept You?

I've tried contacting a few IMO's and they don't answer. They don't know anything about me, how can that be?

What exactly do you need to get them to take you? Other ones seem like they want to be really picky or already producing 10K a month to join them. Do I need to join a local FE agency or FFL to get to 10K then try to contact some? And why would some not even reply? Thanks!

The good IMOs have always been picky. You should get a call back though and an explanation if they're not accepting you, why they are not.

With FEX contracting the most common reason we did turn agents away is that they want to sell with a different model than we sell. Like if you're wanting to sell tele sales with an agency that is all face-to-face that's not a good fit for you or for us.
Or if you want to do a pyramid, recruiting style sub agency, we are not interested.
Or if you are geographically located in an area where we already covered with agents, then we don't add more agents on top of our current agents.
There are a lot of reasons why IMOs will not take you on as an agent, but they should at least have a conversation with you to see if you are a fit and let you know what the reason is.

Hi Newby, if they didn't answer, should i try contacting them back? I did a follow up email, but they didn't answer- without even knowing anything about me. Very odd.

And does it help tremendously when you already have a track record of say 5K, 10K plus a month?

Production doesn't matter too much. Mainly location and what you want to do. If you want to private message your name and phone number to me I'll follow up with you personally.

"You should get a call back...." That's interesting. I can recall calling your organization at least 3-4 times over the years. Most recently, last month. Don't you have a Mark Stover over there? Even after speaking with FEX directly, I have never once received a call back.
I never would have said a word, had I not seen this response.

I'll be glad to speak with you on the phone if you're interested in focusing 100% on FE. I've been selling FE since 1999, and we were the first group in the nation to start FE telesales...way back in 2004...20 years ago. You'd need to be happy to write with just one carrier Senior Life.

We have lead financing for field agents. And a platform for free leads with reduced commision for telesales agents or live TV transfers that the agent pays for with higher commission.

Feel free to call me at 252-292-3350 anytime between 9am est to 7pm est Mon thru Sat, and 1pm est to 6pm est on Sundays. If you're interested in doing FE part time or representing different carriers we would not be a good match.

But you don't finance leads or know anything about leads for your agents.

You posted that a week or so ago.

Did you get into the lead business in the last week?

Don't know what you are talking about. I've financed leads for my field agents for years.

That's what you have always claimed.

But when asked direct question last week you pretended to know nothing about it.

This is what you said on Oct 25, 2024:

"I don't generate leads. I use Sr Life's leads. Spin it anyway you want."
