Looking for 2,000,000 term for a 45 year old NS, gastric by pass 4 years ago, one BP med, one Chol med, 5"10, 400#.
We have tried Banner, WC Pru, ING, Gen, anyone have any suggestions?

Gastric bypass 4 years ago and still 400 pounds? What were they before the bypass? At 400 pounds I would think there would be more medical issues than just one BP and one cholesterol med.

You should have your GA summarize the clients health (as you did above) and send it out to all carriers as an informal. 5'10/400 lbs though puts them outside most carriers guidelines.

Wow, that makes the Table H offer I got back on a client this morning look good.

I dont see it working anywhere but I know you are doing your duty to the client to be able to say that you have left no stone unturned. I do like to talk to the underwriters at Mutual of Omaha about overweights because they do pretty well with weight issues and give you the straight scoop, and I know that they will take someone who has a gastric bypass if the results were good. Unfortunately, not so here.

Good luck.

If a company would take him, he would not want to pay for the table rating. 5"10 the max is about 290 with most companies out there today.

He can only get a graded death benefit at this time. I have the feeling he has some more health issues wrong with him also.

This is a case from an investment firm that sends some of their insurance cases my way, graded benefit is all that is available.

Does Empire General still do impared Risk cases, if so give them a try.

I got coverage on my 34 yr old smoker brother in law, 2 heart attacks, and insulin dependent diabetic since birth.

Good Luck

Scott

Group life... not sure you'll get the $2M, but it might be a guarantee issue in your state.

Is he self employed? Could he qualify for his own group life plan?
