In process of moving contracts

Does anyone know what happens if I wrote a T65 with UHC effective 4.1 & I am changing uplines. (Old upline commissions paid to their agency but I own my Bob. On April 1, she will do an immediate release and I will be independent, commissions paid directly to me with a different upline but same Fmo). I'm assuming that T65 comission will go to her because I wrote it under her and then she will pay me?! But what happens if I'm going to put that client in a Dsnp because I know they will be elegible for full medicaid once they are 65. Will that chargeback come to me directly since we will have re contracted me and transferred the Bob by then? I have in writing that I own my Bob (Hope this all makes sense)

Stuff you wrote under the old one stays with the old one.
It's like you are a first day on the job agent starting with your new up line. Nothing you wrote previously will have anything to do with that.
I think you are about to learn a lesson about who owns your old book of business if you had assigned your commissions away to the Upline.

Yes I didn't know better back then. But she says my Bob is mine. I thought all of that still transfer overs?

Nope. It's all hers. Most of the time they will not pay you another penny once you move. Maybe she will be nicer.

In this business, you want to do research before signing any contracts with anyone. Always assume that everyone is out to screw you over. You will be right 98% of the time. 😂
