Is anyone else running into LH guys calling your DM clients and saying they received their card and would like to make an appointment? Sometimes they door knock and show a generic lead card. This is so creepy! I have run into LH reps doing this to my clients 4 times in the last month.

Perhaps they sent in a card? Unless they are just calling off a list for FE mailers, these people probably did send in another card.

The clients didn't send in another card and the agent never shows them a card.

If he does show a card it's generic and doesn't have the client's info on it.

No big conspiracy.. They are probably just canvassing using a list, using something like, "You may remember getting a card offering free information about low cost, state regulated final expense plans. I am the fellow who take scare of that in the area and would like a few m minutes to provide you with that information." Long been a tried and true way of prospecting for many FE folks.. Some even imply that the person they are talkign to returned the card requesting the information.

They probably pulled a list for potential mailers and are calling off it. There is no way they could know who bought with another company.

If only I was a world class hacker. I'd be changing Bankers Med Supps and LH FE.

When I first started in insurance doing mostly Medicare, I was broke and only cold called for clients. I was going to leave the industry and work for Ed Jones. I said one more week left of trying with this insurance stuff.
Lo and behold, I had a stretch of prospects saying they had a colonial penn policy or LH. This was like 15 in a week. I switched about 10 of them ended up making about $6000 FYC that week and never looked back.

Pretty much. If I were cold calling an FE list, I might say the same. Odds are, the person has returned a card to someone recently.

Wrote a United Heritage guy of a Lee internet lead a month ago. A week ago he calls asking why is premium went up so much. I stop by a day later and see the Lincoln Heritage stuff. We call LH and stop the app. I called the agent and left a message that he should not spend that advance.

This client is not the sharpest tool in the shed. I do not begrudge the agent, Just business. I got a call from a TX SIWL client's daughter-in-law wanting a policy on her new grandbaby. By the end of the call, we are replacing a month old AAA term plan on her son and Two TA Term plans that were just issued. On the TA I may just have them non take those and use the same underwriting to write new ones. Guy should have done a better job of solidifying the sale. Just business.

Oh, and the TA guy did it F2F, I am 1,500 miles away. :)
