"Living Promise", the FE plan from Mutual of Omaha is now available here in California.

Looking at the application it appears the client will have to sign 5 or 6 times.

Application asks Drivers License information and how long I've known the client. I know these are common questions in the standard market but isn't it a little much for FE?

Most of my answers will be:
Drivers License? Nope.
How long known? 45 minutes.

I'm sure the answers to those questions won't matter much but getting 5 or 6 signatures seems a little excessive for a simplified issue product.

Their rates look decent for Female Non-Tobacco users but that's about it.

Any one here writing much Living Promise? I like their name recognition but can't get too excited about the product yet.

The major problem with living promise is: there is no rhyme or reason on when they will call, to do a phone interview with your applicant, and when they wont.

They can also take a long time to issue. Other than name recognition or the fact that they go down to age 45 and do offer an A/D rider, plenty of easier companies to write for FE that can beat their prices.

TransAmerica added a new page to their FE app today. Requires an additional signature.

How does 5-Star have one signature on the whole app plus payment page and the app is good for most states?

Other companies need 50 Bazillion signatures and every state has a unique app.

Newby was that page added in some are all states? What does the page say?In some states they already require the accelerated death benefit rider page.Snl only requires one signature and the etf form.

It's a new more detailed beneficiary page. Has to do with the fine insurance companies got from not searching hard enough for Beneficiaries.

I wrote $25,000 face today for a 67-year old at $111.00 a month, perfect health except for being on the heavy side. I just used all the same Monumental forms as usual, 3 signatures.

Thanks goes to Lead Connections and the E-179 card, got the e-mail today, printed it, drove 15 minutes, $1332 AP, solid citizen type, retired from teaching.

Well when does it take effect? I have numerous possibilities with TA but I don't have that page and I haven't received an email on it either.

It takes effect NOW and is required in all states except CA and MA. For any application submitted on or after 9/17 without it, there will automatically be an amendment generated - had about 10 of them today already with my agents on jet issue policies. After 10/31 it will be required to come in with the app, but until then it can be done post-issue. It's form DMF 2014 if you want to search for it on ANI. And there was no email about it, just a bombshell dropped on all their agents without warning..

Since this is a Living Promise thread, $25k, 67F, would be $109.85.

I keep getting that screen that asks me to post, so now I posted.
