Looking for agency with free leads

Not opposed. Just can't afford leads right now.

There are agencies/companies that will give you 85% and "finance" your leads. Old American used to offer something like that. Direct mail at $30 a pop, then they'd take the lead money out of your commissions before paying you the balance. Senior Life used to do something similar I believe depending upon your upline there.

Have you sold any final expense insurance?

You're worried about leads. I'd suggest you be more worried about finding someone to teach you a solid presentation and how to close against basic objections.

Maybe reach out to FEX contracting where they train FE monsters.

You don't need $5K. Of course, it is easier with $5K, but you can do it with less.

You can mail a 1000 piece mailing for around $700 these days and get the data list.

Door knock the 5 to 8 who actually fill out the card and mail it back, then door knock the other 992 who didn't.

Boman's in the free lead gig on telesales . Just like all the rest for yrs he said telesales was a failed model . I believe he says his free leads pay 70% . I think most of these agents don't release your not doing well after a few weeks they'll cut you off the program fast
I have no idea what they offer.

But if they offer free leads and will release then that could be the place to build up some lead money.

The DIG model is easily the worst I've ever seen.

Not only is the model the worst I've seen, Duford is now charging new agents an upfront $1000 initiation fee to get access to aged leads (he starts you with aged leads).

You just can't make those leads free enough lol.

I was gobsmacked when I learned all the details. It hardly seems like something I'd expect from Duford.

20% contracts, LOA, no renewals ... and it can be all yours for the low, low price of only $1000.

No

That cant be true

I mean thinking of it as a job and paying your time to learn is not really that bad for the right person

But paying $1000 defeats the purpose

I take all I said back

David's explanation for the fee, from Reddit:

So you pay your licensing up front, your e&o, and contribute to paying into DIG's operating expense fund and paying for his training staff.

In return you get take a 80 to 100% commission cut depending upon the carrier, you assign your commissions to DIG, and you give up any and all rights to renewals.

DIG is a great acronym for this agency, because it just digs into the agent's pocket and keeps right on digging.

Ohh Man

I thought it was 40 or 50% commissions with average production?

they are only paying 20%?

There's another potential issue based on the stuff I've read. The agency has total control over which/how many leads each agent gets. Along with all the other issues that obviously comes with, which are many, if $ gets tight it's super easy to make sure people don't get that bonus for the first 30 days.

You want control over you leads then don't do a free lead program

In 2006 I worked for a brokerage they got me lic and taught me insurance and fed me leads

However when they decided they wanted to sell crappy indemnity plans instead of quality insurance they had control over the leads and the commission

I learned then if you are getting fed your giving up control, you want control you have to buy your own leads or self generate
