Medicare Advantage Beneficiaries Did Not Receive More Dental, Vision or Hearing Care

That is an exception, not the rule, based on my observations and experience. Would you agree or not?
Aetna MAPD doesn't require a network.

Aetna stand alone doesn't require a network, but like Manhattan, has a network if you want to use it. Same with Lifeshield. There are others.

So, I guess that I disagree. I know that many require using networks, and I don't mess with those. Overall, you might be right, just hasn't been my experience with the companies I deal with.

Here comes the lapdog! And who you calling a fairy you old fart!
So cute how he stands up for the other old fart even though he doesn't know what MA OEP is, thinks all dental plans are terrible and doesn't even sell PDP's. Does nothing but Med Sups but knows more about Medicare than anyone on this forum. 😀

You're right. It's called friendship and respect.

Plenty for him and none for you.

I don't like networks, annual benefit caps, waiting periods, filing claims and prior authorizations.

Haven't had dental insurance in 15 years and only then because it was part of the pack through Rachel's benefit coverage. It was horrible.

Other than needing a crown or two per year for a few years I haven't wanted or needed insurance. I have always used established private practitioners, not the "Dental Club of America". I am very particular about who I let work on my teeth. Only once did I use a dentist that was just starting out and only then because his dad was a friend.

Fortunately he broke his wrist about a year later and had to give up a practice. That allowed me to get someone else.
