Medicare Advantage saved Medicare

$350,000,000,000 a year plus. And that is an old figure.

According to a 2019 article by Kaiser, the Federal government spent $321 more per person for Medicare Advantage enrollees than for beneficiaries with Original Medicare.

How can anything that costs more save you money?

It was sarcasm. "Saved it from funding" .... was a sarcastic response meaning it took away that funding.

Hence my follow up with the annual figure of tax money that goes to subsidized MAPD.
