I am about 90 miles from Macon . . . even have a few clients in that area . . . never met any of them F2F.

As @rmhaire said, the app can be done by phone in 10 minutes and he can have coverage effective 3/1 if he contacts either of us by Monday.

Or he can wait until Don drives to see him . . .

Hopefully he can work out talking with either somarco or rmhaire in time to have 3/1 coverage. You might want to PM both of them to get a phone number. Since he is still in his intial sign up period (presuming it doesn't run out the end of this month) you could talk him through, over the phone, signing up for something, anything, supplement wise now so he has March 1 coverage if he can't arrange to phone meet with somarco or rmhaire in time to get March coverage. Then he can talk with one of them to get the coverage/company that makes the most sense for him and meets his needs to start in April. Does he have D? If not remind him of that.

Sorry he ended up up with pneumonia and will be hit with the big hospital bill deductible. Around here I know a number of people getting pneumonia after the flu and also getting it after a non-flu virus going around. My PCP said he has seen more pneumonia this year with both than he has in ages (I got diagnosed with pneumonia yesterday after being sick for 10 days with a non flu/covid virus. No fun but at least I am not hospitalized).

The IEP ends 3 months following the month you turn 65. If this persons IEP ends in February, as long as he submits an application prior to the end of the month his coverage should begin March 1.

If the application is not processed until March, coverage will be backdated to 3/1.
