Hello, I have a client with 6 vans doing NEMT & they are purchasing 4 moire & zsome will be 12 passenger. Their current carrier NICO will not write it. Im looking for more markets, other than the pool.

Why is NICO getting off of it? Have you tried BHHC? They're NICOs sister company, but separate underwriting departments. If all else fails, you could try Prime.

Thank you for reponding! NICO only allows 8 seats or less for their NEMT program. Do you have any contacts for BHHC? I reached out to Prime years ago but they said they use NICO, possibly it has changed since then.

No problem. I have a direct appointment with BHHC and they do online rating through a program called Breeze. They're sort of like Progressive where you don't have an assigned contact, they just assign it to a general underwriting inbox.

If you don't have a direct appointment, you might be able to find a wholesaler with access, though I'm not aware of any off the top of my head.

Prime is an actual insurance company, not a broker, so you might be thinking of something else if your contact is writing with NICO. Prime doesn't write with NICO to my knowledge. [EXTERNAL LINK] - Prime Insurance Company - Specialty Insurance Solutions
They will write just about anything, but they charge accordingly. Very expensive.

I found an appetite guide. Looks like BHHC isn't writing in MI, which surprises me, but I write on the west coast
