New to Insurance - Need advice

I am preparing for my 220 exam and have no experience in Insurance. I was hoping I could get some solid advice here on which type of insurance sales are most lucrative?

I will obviously have to start at the very bottom, but would like to focus on a product that will eventually, with hard work, allow me to earn a 6 figure salary. I am considering Health and Life Insurance, but was told to start with something much easier such as auto. Others I have spoken to seem to feel that it could take much longer to make a decent living on auto ins sales, unless you own an agency. I was also interested in Commercial & Homeowners. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Jance

auto insurance lead rates are higher than life and health .. i think health insurance probably pay less than other type of insurance but fact is its little easy to sell comparing to other insurance products .. so you need to decide your career on basis of your interests and contacts and make sure what type of insurance you can sell easily

Ankyonline - Thank you for your reply. I wasn't aware that Health insurance paid less than others. I was under the impression there was higher earning potential with Health Ins. I'm still learning, but reading this forum is helping me tremendously.

I'm finding most of my questions have already been asked and answered by others - so thank you to all who contribute to this board.
