I'm relatively new to insurance and I'm looking to make a mark in South Florida. I have a pretty stocked toolbox including appointments with FE, Medicare and health carriers ( it's a long story posted elsewhere). I am itching to get going and can afford leads but don't want to waste money. I'm just not sure which avenue to take in my situation. I also know that experienced guidance is invaluable. Anyone know south florida senior market well?

Thanks in advance!

Nobody "wants" to waste money but you need to realize that roughly half (or more) of your leads will not pan out. You can't worry about that because that's the cost of doing business. It's all about the return on your investment.

That said, there are a few agents killing it down there but most have said it's best to get out and sell to the outlying areas and don't be afraid to travel.

Good Luck.

No kidding?? Are you driving that much? Well maybe that is why we were doing phone sales. I'm in North Miami but I'm licensed in multiple states. What agency did you work for originally?

I meant waste money testing out crappy lead sources until i found one that works. I've been in business long enough to understand ROI. But if i can get a good angle on leads from someone experienced then that gets me ahead of the game.

agent guy, what part of fla, would be good to sell FE. as I sit up north, burr. thinking about moving to fla.

Strangely some of my posts are showing up..??

Unfortunately I can't travel that much. So maybe FE isn't for me down here? Anyone have success with medicare?
