Plan Termination SEP

Anybody have any experience with using the plan termination SEP to move from one MAPD to another MAPD outside of AEP/OEP? Will I be required to provide the plan termination/SAR letter? I have clients that want to wait to the end of December to make a plan change because of ongoing network negotions and they don't have their plan term letters from UHC and UHC is not making it easy to get them.

I think it was Back in 2014 we had a local MAPD go bankrupt in Florida.
In a matter of 2 weeks, I picked up probably 2 dozen new clients. All of which went to another MAPD.
everyone of them I did without the documentation. shouldn't be an issue.

Going to medsupp for the GI, would be another conversation

OK, great info. Yeah, to get GI on MedSupp would require the letter. I've done around a dozen of them so far this AEP. Thanks for the post!
