While not in country, GW was indeed Air Guard during Vietnam. I believe during Tet. 1968.

I will add, while I am considered a Vietnam Era Veteran because I enlisted and served during Vietnam. I was never in Country or off shore. So I don't say I am Vietnam Veteran. Everyone is different, this is me.

I also am a Veitnam ERA vet but certainly not a Veitnam vet. I also was a draft dodger... joined the Air Force.
