Purchasing Leads

With AEP and the under 65 enrollment period over here in CA, I'm looking for leads. I've never bought leads, but I'd like to get either group medical leads and/or life insurance leads. Anyone know of good, reputable lead systems for these markets?

Speakeasy Leads is great for final expense and general life insurance leads, been using them for about a year now. Agent Advantage is also a pretty solid choice if you're selling IULs.
A few vendors I would stay away from would be Leadrilla, Caboom Leads, TTC Leads, EverQuote. (based off my personal experience).

I also found a guy on Fiverr to manage in-house campaigns, leads are great but the cost per lead varies quite a bit. Happy to put you in touch with him.

Curious what it is about them that makes you say you'd stay away? Genuinely asking, not a set up. Price, quality, speed...?

Predominantly just the overall quality (disconnected/wrong numbers, people claiming they never requested life insurance, etc).

But Caboom does text verification there should not be wrong numbers nor too many people claiming they never requested

I mean there will always be some but you have the fav hobbies and other things you really should not be getting that much with these leads

They send a code/text to the number provided by the lead. Providing it isn't bounced the number is now "verified". So, if I respond to one of their ads, and I put your phone number down. They'll send that message/code and it will go through (working#), and now it's a verified lead. Just a fancy little play on words to charge a higher amount in my opinion. It's astonishing how many 70-80yr/old people were filling out final expense forms at 1am-4am as well.

Caboom, got me 3 times. I don't think a single order is a great example of the quality from a vendor, but after the 3rd order of the same outcome, they've been removed from my list.

Perhaps someone else has had a better experience.

They don't just get a code in there phone
They have to enter that code into the site to verify

I had success with them, But at the current pricing you would have to do over 10%

I did that on my last batch but can I grantee I will do that every time to justify these prices

Were there were before the increase I would still be using them

But that is rare

Now this is not to say you wont have sales resistance many of these people are hoping to get the quotes in their email

but that is our job to convert them

these are people who are doing more then just clicking an ad on Facebook and you do not get wrong numbers

I'm glad your experience was better. That was definitely not mine. Of the few people that I did talk to, none of them confirmed they had to enter a code to continue, they did confirm receiving a text though.

Neither here or there, I've moved on. LOL

Why do you go around asking them if they put in a code?

I mean its not going to get you sales

I have only brought it up a few times when they say who what I did not do anything?

Ohh I understand , That's not uncommon looks like you were looking at some information on facbook about protecting your family from the out of pocket cost due to finel exposes

and do you recall getting a text where you put in a 4 digit code to the site confirm you wanted that information?

oh yea I remember now

Just curious Vic do you work social media mapd leads ? I'm not talking T-65 leads . I have no idea how a phone agent can make a living with mapd leads. 80% are lower income . Those type people must be sold face to face. I bet in March alone i replaced 35 apps sold over the phone and at least 20 of those were 4/1 pending apps i knocked out . Multiply me by 10's of 1000's of agents who do the same thing . Persistency for most plans sold over the phone is atrocious on mapd .
