I have a mortgage company that refers me business. They send me their number and I call them. I never thought of the do not call list, how should I handle this?

DNC does not apply when the customer consents. And the mortgage company is the one that may be breaching customer information practices, but you are the one making contact.

Create a one-page form for the mortgage company to get the customer's authorization to share their information with their authorized partners for contact. Have that signed authorization form sent to you along with their details.
