I enrolled alot of my clients into Silver Script Choice last year. They've been calling and the plan is still pretty good. In michigan the premium is going from $29.10 to $33.80. They can still get the tier 1's with a $0 copay and the tier 2's with a $24 copay (namebrands) I've run some of their prescriptions on Medicare's website and then had to go to SilverScript website and look up the 2014 formulary to compare. I also make sure their pharmacy is still preferred. Most of the time, Silver Script is beating anything out there for 2014, especially if there on one or two name brands. So i've been telling them that the plan is still a good option for 2014. Also, they seem to be happy with the plan.

Because there is no agent certification for 2014 because there not offering the PDP plans do we just lose all of our renewals? It's not much money...$27 renewal but if I'm taking the time to do this it sure would be nice to be paid on the renewals. Anyone hear anything?

There is agent certification. Finished it last week to preserve renewals. See agent portal.

Yeah what Mason said!

As has been said, go to the agent portal and complete certification.

As for them still being the cheapest, I'm not finding that to be the case for those taking generic meds. WellCare Classic and Humana Walmart have been for me in those instances. Not always, but more often than not.

Agreed, somewhat surprised how often the Humana Walmart is showing up. WellCare is neck and neck with Walmart quite often especially using mail order. I have been getting some complaints about Rightsource visiting my current clients as of late. How is WellCare's mail order?

Not sure about WellCare's mail order. I enrolled several folks in the WellCare Extra plan for 2013, but they mostly used the pharmacy because of the zero copays for generics. I'm having to change many of those this year because of their new preferred pharmacy restriction.

I wish I would have never started doing PDP's. Way too much work now for the pay. But I just can't let my clients waste money by being on the wrong plan.

Yeah i hear you on how much work it is for very lil pay. I guess it's part of keeping a happy med supp client all around. I have an "office day" during the week where I tell my PDP clients they can come see me then. The rest of the week I am doing my in homes for MAs and Med supps.
