So Go Health just dropped at least 750 employees.

If you're referring to something other than the "kickbacks" between 2018 to 2022. I'm interested what the airtight case of massive fraud is.

Also, I was just looking...Go Health "wrote" 300,000 MAPD's this first quarter. They literally just stopped writing anything today and are solely writing Final Expense now. Weird

Go read the 211 page lawsuit . There's texts were they were laughing at cms how illegal what they were doing . The carriers bribed call centers to direct vol there way wether it was a shitty plan or not . Another example is wellcare . Giving big 13 and 24 bonus's so the call center wouldn't flip the business . This was to coerce the call center to keep the plan in place even if it was shitty plan . The bottom line carriers were using taxpayer money that should have been going to plans to bribe brokers to steer business there way

Where did you read this ? Please show a link to this . These call centers flipping to fe as they have all infrastructure in place . Think about it . Avg fe pays the fmo about $1000 . A June mapd might pay $400 with override . A July will pay $370 . Isn't worth it

This was posted by Bloomberg yesterday morning:

GoHealth shares fell in extended trading on May 16 after the insurance company said there is substantial doubt about its ability to continue as a going concern and delayed the filing of its 10-Q for the three months ended March 31.

There is a significant likelihood that the company will be unable to maintain compliance with its covenants and make scheduled principal and interest payments, the company said in an SEC filing.

I saw that but where did you read they switched to selling fe only ? My clients still getting massive calls day in day out . No doubt Fmo's are very worried about this lawsuit . This ties right in with the lawsuit from cms from last yr . This isn't about some bs steering . This is about abuse using govt money paying marketing money and overrides . What's mind boggling to me . Big call centers pay agents about $20 am hr and $50-$150 an app . Let's say they avg $250 an app overall throughout they yr . Throw in $250 override an app and about $200 an app marketing money . Even if only 40% stick to yr 2 they make the $26.08 renewal and the $12.50 a month override or $38.58 a month every month on probably 500 k or more policys . And all are still losing money . That tells me persistency in first yr has to be 50% or less . As I've preached for yrs telesales in low income mkt can't be done . It must be done face to face to establish loyalty . In the month of may with 11 days to go I've knocked out at least 15 telesales apps that had effective dates of 1-1 to 4-1-25 already
