So Go Health just dropped at least 750 employees.

This is a positive development.
  • First quarter 2025 net revenues of $221.0 million, a 19.1% increase compared to $185.6 million in the prior year period.
  • First quarter 2025 net loss of $9.8 million, a 54.2% improvement compared to a net loss of $21.3 million in the prior year period.
  • First quarter 2025 Adjusted EBITDA1 of $42.1 million, a 56.4% increase compared to $26.9 million in the prior year period.
  • First quarter 2025 Submissions2 were 303,026, a 40.2% increase compared to 216,148 Submissions in the prior year period, primarily driven by strong contributions from GoHealth's internal captive agents.
  • First quarter 2025 Direct Operating Cost per Submission3 was $522, an 18.4% improvement compared to $640 in the prior year period.
Over 300k enrollments at a cost of over $500 an app. Gotta assume 90% of that business was transfers (average commission $260 in the first quarter), that they probably retain no more than 60% annually. There's just no way these call centers could operate without receiving exorbitant amounts of money over and above what Medicare compensation limits.

I'd imagine that money has come to a screeching halt in light of recent news. This is great news, IMO.

Not a troll job. I have someone that works at Go Health. The reps that only had a health license were furloughed the rest will be selling Colonial Penn. It would be a weird thing to lie and troll about

They told investors it'll be their own special final expense product. Maybe it's cobranded with colonial?

So they are dropping all Medicare products? Why isn't any of this on the internet?

I don't know, friendo. The person I know is one of their top producers.Going into Monday already had 40 applications. I will tell you there is no one selling any Medicare Products at Go Health effective yesterday morning. Word is they'll migrate back closer to AEP
This same thing happened to a call center I was working at. We closed 8 months later.

I saw that they're selling colonial Penn . It's obviously cash flow related with much higher up front commissions . Also diversification before the hammer comes down on Medicare . But I find it hard to believe they'll be selling GI only . What do too go health agents make ? I've read like $20 an hr and $75-$125 an app ? I've read before if the policy goes active 1 day no chargeback ? But then I've read they do get chargebacks on rapid disenrollments ?
