So I'm thinking the o.o.p for that kidney job would be around the same whether she had it done under Medicare or her current subsidized ACA plan (also medicaid I.M.O) ... she ain't git'n a plan G so ..? She is going to be on an HMO either way if that makes sense ..? Maybe it's subsidized to where she has no premium or o.o.p ... she's flat broke it sounds like ..? What's her o.o.p going to be ?Can't remember the sep I used nor her oop. I'll have to go back and look it up.
I put her with Aetna because of the network she needed. Out of town doctors.
Surgery is next week.
Well then don't send them to MD Anderson. I was cut off until I managed to negotiate with the head of billing who then froze my account.I've yet to see anyone cut off a cancer patient Hospital writes it off .They're still getting 80% of the bill from ins carrier
I won't make a decision on what to recommend until I see the scripts she comes back with next week.So I'm thinking the o.o.p for that kidney job would be around the same whether she had it done under Medicare or her current subsidized ACA plan (also medicaid I.M.O) ... she ain't git'n a plan G so ..? LIS for the pdp ..? Huh ..? Yolu ain't git'n no subsidy on that supp ...I won't make a decision on what to recommend until I see the scripts she comes back with next week.
Medicaid is my next problem. Medicaid factors her spouse's income. Medicare and SS does not. I'm more concerned about his income than hers.
I don't recommend HMOs down here. Networks are too skinny.
I'm leaning towards a plan G and a PDP with some financial help if she needs it. Depends on whether someone throws me a train wreck.
Wanna bet?LIS for the pdp ..? Huh ..? Yolu ain't git'n no subsidy on that supp ...
I don't ... how dat work?Wanna bet?
Depends on the state you're in since Medicaid is state specific. But down here in GA, Medicaid will pay your supplement premium.I don't ... how dat work?
Well, we're in Ohio ... I'm think'n that's in GA not here ... like when people are D-SNP or medicaid ... always HMO's ...Depends on the state you're in since Medicaid is state specific. But down here in GA, Medicaid will pay your supplement premium.
I use to see it a lot back in the day. Not so much these days.
