TFL and MA

Does anyone have experience with Tricare For Life and MAPD? I understand claims can be submitted to TFL, but how does this work? For example, does someone with both plans have all the normal copays associated with their MAPD plan, then submit a claim for the copays that were paid to their providers to TFL to be reimbursed?

Never write an MAPD for a Tricare beneficiary. MA-only is great though if you know what you are doing.

For the most legit training on the subject, I would say reach out to your Humana Military rep. They are dialed in on the subject.

Yeah, I meant to put MA only not MAPD.
