Ahh, that makes sense. I've always been pretty good at picking up on sarcasm. I'm not sure why I missed it this time.

Unfortunately for me, one of the early symptoms of dementia is the inability to recognize sarcasm.

I'm hoping I that isn't the case, of course. But if some day it is, I'll remember this as the earliest sign.

Or maybe I won't.
