UHC Broward FL? Preferred Care Dental??

Vic you're looking at the table of contents. Go to actual chapter 4. It's pretty much preventive plus fillings and dentures.

Nationwide UHC on many of their old plans took away dental outside preventative . They replaced with products that have much higher hospital copays and specialist copays with good dental

Except its not preventive only , Otherwise it would have been real simple

They do mention $0 for comprehensive, and I do know they cover dentures, I don't remember what else I seen that was comprehensive

But certainly annoying having to track down the info like this. Now having to go back and see what actually was listed as comprehensive and what is not

What I've seen nationwide is outside dsnp's they only cover 50% of dentures and Bridges .And even on PPO's they only cover based on the in network amount . Let's say you go out of network for a crown. OON dentist charges $1800 and inn dentist charges $1200. They'll only pay on the agreed In network charges . Aetna's dental was much better but it changed this year to a % copay OON.

UHC usually covers 100% but even 50% is good, not a big deal
Heck to cover only preventive is fine if it just says preventative only on SOB

But to say you cover comprehensive and not cover a root canal that is just strange

My issue is just wanting to go through the Sob in a reasonable amount of time not have to stop and go to evidence of coverage and its not in the index and having to deal with that
