Unhealthy 60 F in AZ

Hey guys...

Real quick...

I have a 60 year old female in AZ. Lots of Health problems. She was declined for the Assurant KeyMed and I currently have her on a limited benefit plan. Money isn't an object for this client and she just wants good coverage. Her list of conditions spans from a stroke 10 years ago, to spondylolisthesis and lots of meds... She's been an auto decline for everything I've looked at.

I've heard people here talk about doing a 1 person group...? Does anyone have more info on this? My client had major medical until this month. She was with Cigna and she she turned 60, her rate went from $1500ish to upward of $2500...

Thanks for the help!!!

Isn't that the new, "liberal underwriting" plan? I know nothing about it (not approved in GA) but would seem if she can't get approval for that then either some form of taxpayer funded plan or an employer plan is her only option.

I do have one question.

If "Money isn't an object" then why is she objecting to the Cigna increase? She may not have any other choices based on what you have posted.

And why offer a limited benefit plan in lieu of major medical? Some things are not adding up.

OK, let me rephrase... she's willing to spend what she was spending before...but not $2600.
