I talked to a woman today who said both she and her fiance were non smokers but smoked vapors and when they applied for fully underwritten term policies with State Farm it showed nicotine in their system and they were rated as smokers. Does anyone know which companies consider vapor smokers non-smokers if any?

On top of that, the price for her 44 year old male smoker fiance with high blood pressure was $115/mo. for a 100k 30 year term. I didn't have a chance to check term prices but does that sound high?

Male = P ~ $77 @ Std $91 approx Cincinnati life

Check out term4sale.com

Some vapors have a very faint amount of nicotine while others are nic free. Vapors have no tar like cigarettes but can have nicotine in the vast different flavored liquids available. I'm kinda surprised a minimum trace would bump up their rating to smokers but understand the decision.

BTW,

You can spank that policy. Example: Protective to age 80 GUL P=$104 S=$128. Premium stays the after age 80 and becomes DT.

Or

$150,000.00 30 year term @ $112.Cinci Life @ Pr'd
$125,000.00 30 year term @ $112.Cinci Life @ Std

Or Or

$190,000.00 25 year term @ $115.AIG

I was in Vegas over the weekend. I learned that you can smoke more than nicotine or flavored liquid in them. :jiggy:

Most everyone just lumps them in as Tobacco, mostly because it's a VERY small piece of the market that don't have nicotine. Your client's also not looking better if they popped positive on labs. Some carriers don't take outside positives as gospel but in FE it sounds like a positive is a positive is a positive.

Check with Prudential. I've gotten cases approved as standard non smoker for certain tobacco products like snuff, cigar use etc.... Call them and get a risk assessment.
