OK...so I hammered them with questions.....get over it. The only reason is that I think this is a good system! But its gotta work for all parties involved. The pricing on the ads is CERTAINLY an issue! Not revealing the screening questions is another issue. Lets hear what you guys think.

I can't even think of 20 health questions to ask.

1) What's your height and weight
2) Are you diabetic
3) Diagnosed with cancer
4) Recent heart attack
5) Recent stroke
6) High cholesterol
7) High Blood Pressure
8) Cooties
9) Add/ADHD
10) Depression/Anxiety
11) Disabled
12) Pregnant
13) Carpal tunnel
14) Pain in right foot
15) Pain in left foot
16) Abnormal protrusions from your head
17) Schizophrenia
18) Tourettes
19) Tummy ache
20) Plague

Here would be my 20 questions:

1. Do you have a checking account or credit card?
2. See #1
3 through 20 - See #1

I believe Vimo pulled all radio ads that state price??? I am sure they can clarify this.

Trying to inject a little humor.

In all seriousness, Vimo will never put a system in place that can properly screen prospects. Ain't gonna happen.

Do they have all the carrier's build charts? Is 240 pounds insurable? It if it's it's a 5.0 woman. It's not if it's a 6.2 male. You can't possibly think Vimo reps can have built charts at their disposal and make a decision to transfer the call or not in a matter of seconds.

Are diabetics uninsurable? Not type II with Aetna who are otherwise healthy.

Are people with HBP insurable? What if they just got diagnosed a month ago and just got put on meds? Nope.

Is high cholesterol insurable? Sure - but how 'bout if they're overweight to boot and their last readings were 260? Nope.

We're gonna be under the false assumption that Vimo can screen out the uninsurables. I assure you they cannot. Is someone with recent cancer uninsurable? Not if it's basal cell.

I'm sure Vimo can weed out "some" applicants who are obese, heart attacks, strokes and type 1 diabetic but it's basically gonna end there.

So what good does it to to ask 20 questions? That would only be effective if by the answers they received they would not transfer the call.

Go ask Vimo if they're gonna transfer someone who has high blood pressure but also high cholesterol. They sure will. Can you write 'em? Nope.

That's actually my point. Only we know who we can get through underwriting. And heck, most agents don't even know their guidelines.

My point is simple; Vimo reps cannot possibly know the guidelines for 15 companies. They can and should screen out the "no-brainers" which is morbidly obese, recent heart attack, stroke, cancer and disabled.

After that just give me the lead. I think a lot of agents are going to be disappointed after Vimo initiates the new 20 question thinking everyone's gonna be insurable. Then they're gonna go nuts asking for credits and wondering why they just got the fat guy with HBP and high cholesterol.

15 companies for all 50 states with different guidelines. And then you have people who actually work with uninsurables, though probably want to pay significantly less for the lead.

Then there is the insurable that doesn't want to do business today, they just called to get information. After all, not everyone who calls will be compelled to change to you, just because.

Then you have those who have a cold, need to go to the doctor, can afford coverage, but only want it so they can go to the doctor and have coverage. They'll cancel next month. Should these be credited?

I'm not a big fan of high price marketing that I don't control, but if I know what it is, and can see an ROI in it, I would be there. I wish they did live transfers for P&C.
