HI Friends....
Newby question for the pros,
I've heard of Med B reimbursements plans available to veterans,--- but many VETS have already opted out of paying their Medicare premium and instead take the extra money.
Your input is greatly appreciated...thanks
- Lets say 'Sailor Joe' turned 65 in 2022,... can he now take the MA PLAN offering part B reimbursement?
- if so, is there a penalty AND will companies pay the MED B reimbursement anyway?
OP appears to be asking if a veteran can enroll in a Part B giveback plan and receive its Part B giveback amount when they have chosen not to pay a Part B premium (presumably this means the veteran is not enrolled in Part B at all).Law has nothing to do with it, nor does military service. If a person enrolls in an MAPD with a Part B Giveback, that giveback amount will be applied toward their Part B premium.
Thanks for your service.
I thought this MA enrollment would not be allowed but I do not know what special rules might apply to veterans.
