What P&C Insurance aggregator is the best?

Hello,
I'm an independent agent in Oklahoma that has a huge BOB for Health, Medicare, and Life, but I would like to add P&C for both personal and commercial. I'm comparing insurance aggregators. If you've had any experience with any of them, good or bad, please let me know.

This is a loaded question and frankly there not nearly enough information to give you an opinion.

If your BOB is large - why even bother in PC?

How much do you plan on selling in year one? How about year ten?
Are there any carriers in your area that you are particularly interested in acquiring access to?
Are you more interested in max commission, speed of binding, or least amount of time?

Things change and I'd like to not have all of my eggs in one basket. P&C can help me diversify while offering my options for my clients. I'm more interested in more options for clients than higher commissions. The speed of shopping multiple carriers at one time is most important. I'd like Mercury and Progressive for sure and no minimum requirements.

That's probably a smart move although P@C is very tough right now . I see Medicare and Aca commissions being greatly affected over the next 12-24 months . No question Trump wants to damage Aca and make it less appealing . And Medicare in upheaval with over billing in the spotlight big and profit margins tanking . We've heard it for over 10 yrs how you need to be wary of selling products subsidized by the govt( Aca and mapd) . But this time i believe those warnings become reality . I'd also look at getting in the annuity game as that's been red hot for yrs

Ca commercial P&C agent here. I'd like to echo a few things that have already been said, as well as add a few. The best aggregator is a super loaded question, and will come down to what you are going to be writing, production requirements, costs, etc.
Furthermore, p&c is a hot mess right now. NY, FL, and Ca are getting it the worst, but it's bad nationwide, and I suspect it will get worse.
Finally, Mercury in Ca is recently no longer working through aggregators for new business as far as I know. So, if you want to access them through an aggregator, I'd suggest you double check on that. Also, I don't believe Progressive works with aggregators either, at least in Ca, so I would double check on that too. With that said, getting direct appointments right now is pretty darn difficult.

Good luck.

@Markthebroker is a little off here. I am the SVP of an aggregator and we have Prog and Merc. They are very important partners of ours on a national level. Mark is dope and I respect his posting style and knowledge he shares on here.

OK and Merc. they are appointing in some areas, not all in that state. Appointing folks with P&C track record. Great carrier. Prog is always great!

Call me if you like, we can talk through some of this if you like.

The days of no production limits and getting access willie nillie is coming to an a end. Wel thought out business plans. Location. a track record of production and Profit in P&C...

The P&C industry just got Culled. The heard was Culled. The industry is not bringing on anyone and everyone at this point.
