What plan/company could work in this situation?

Let me preface this by saying that I am a senior market agent and did not intend to do any life. That said, I have had a lot of referrals for life insurance from acquaintances, most of whom I've been able to help. But the most recent is a different situation... 64M looking for 100K term. He has a pacemaker (had it for 20+ years) - otherwise in reasonably good health.

Do I need to try to find him a guaranteed issue type policy? Or are there any companies that would consider him? Any suggestions for companies?

I dont have anything in my limited life portfolio for this situation (by the way, I'm fully prepared for and welcome :swoon:the innundation of "My FMO provides training and support" and "I have a XXX% contract with XXX" replies).

Hey Houston, can you share carrier with all of us. Granted, you won't get a slice if we don't go through you. But it would be nice to know which carrier does that.

Care to contribute to the forum?

I can help....Pacemaker in place for 20 yrs would start him as a Table 2.

$100,000 Monthly Premium 10 yr $113
15 yr $172
20 yr $247

These are AIG quotes for their LTG UltraC product. AIG comes in best for their 10 y term (Savings Bank is a little better) but fall way behind in the 20 y. Western Reserve has a 20y term table 2 at $203/month. This shows the banding going on. Changing the rating with also give different results.

The biggest issue here is the pacemaker you client had put in when he was in his 40s. Why did he need a pace maker...heart attack, irregular heart beat, etc...

Standard will be a stretch but can't comment after that without more info.

Assuming Table 2, which is a roll of the dice, Genworth comes in about the same too. About 6 dollars more for the ten year. About a dollar less for the 15yr
