We have them at $2.75 each. The only requirement is that your Transamerica and Mutual of Omaha contracts must be with us or through YIG. For the life of me, I don't know where they get them but they keep getting more and more. They seem to be one to three years old. They are great for fillers or an agent starting out. I wouldn't use them for you one and only lead source though.

Be careful. I know a few people who bought these 1-3 yr old dm leads and most were 5 or more yr's old. Honestly just buy a 1000 name list of 55-75 with incomes of $15-$60k in a picked zip code and door knock. Just say "You were recently mailed a card about final expense and do you have 5 min's".Im not seeing much reaction when people have actually filled the card out and you have to drive all over the place. With a tight zip code list I bet you could door knock 40-50 a day.

I just can't see myself doing that. You wouldn't be better off just contacting old leads? Leads are severely drying up in my state and it is small.

I guess the difference lies in the fact that they actually cared to the extent that they went through the trouble of filling out the card and mailing it back, as opposed to someone that has never shown an interest.

You must be in a good area. I door knocked 15 today as I'm having trouble getting a steady supply of new leads. 10 weren,t home or no answer. 3 had no idea why they filled it out and I sold a $83 a month one. These were month old dm leads. I've door knocked at last 50 dm leads the last 4 weeks and I'd say 80% of the people that come to the door look at the card in bewilderment and act like its something the never filled out. These are leads near a big city. I'll be driving out 75-150 miles into the country from now on.
